And exerpt From White Crow Haiku

A couple of weeks ago London was still fairly bleak with the last moments of winter.  Now the city is a riot of blossoms.  Almost every street has a tree  in full bloom.

And when the wind blows, if you’re lucky, you find yourself in a shower of soft white or pink petals.

so pretty…reminds me of springtime in hokkaido… only there was less of it because it was so bloody cold, and they barbecued horsemeat to serve as you froze while shiveribgly appreciating the flowers.

    they’re pinker in japan, though.

bring some pressed fleurs home as a souvenir!
